Very few cases actually go to trial, and the judges at the trial level generally do an excellent job of managing the trial and ensuring that the verdict ultimately reached is supported by the evidence and by the law. On occasion, though, there is reason to doubt that the conclusion reached at trial is valid. On those occasions, it may be prudent to appeal the trial court decision to the relevant court of appeals.
The appellate procedure is vastly different from the trial procedure. Because so few trial verdicts are appealed, finding an attorney familiar with and accomplished in the appeal process is difficult. At Ortner and Bofferding, LLC, we have experience with the appellate process from beginning to end. We will ensure that the legal issues affecting your case are presented to the appellate court in a way that is compelling and persuasive and that your arguments are given full consideration by the appellate panel.
